The First Beijing International Medical Forum on Precision Medicine and Cancer Treatment

(Yanqi Lake, 2016)

Time: June 15-17, 2016

Venue: International Conference Center, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences

Forum Introduction:

Recently, the early diagnosis and early treatment of cancer is becoming possible with a variety of new theories and new methods emerging. To fully implement the "National long-term Science and Technology Development Plan (2006-2020)," to further strengthen the international academic and medical exchanges for precision cancer treatment, to promote accurate medical disciplinary research, and to enhance China's technological innovation and development, the first Beijing International Medical Forum on Precision Medicine and Cancer Treatment will be hold during June 16-18, 2016 by the Chinese Medical Association and University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. The conference will focus on high frequent incidence of malignant tumors, basing on large-scale clinical specimens, associating with genomics, proteomics, immunohistochemistry and metabolomics. The purpose is to expand our know-how to find more accurate diagnosis and precise treatments.

Topics

  • Precision Medicine and Cancer Treatment
  • Tumor Immunotherapy
  • Immunotherapy on the Horizon
  • GWAS (Genome wide associated study)
  • Proteomics and diseases
  • Metabolomics and diseases

Forum Purpose

Speakers are leading authorities in tumor immunology and cancer immunotherapy, bioinformatics and clinical oncologists. The talks will facilitate understanding:

1) The basic principles of tumor immunology and immunotherapy;

2) The clinical indications for immunotherapy and the appropriate selection and management of patients;

3) Emerging concepts and agents in the cancer immunotherapy field;

4) The therapeutic effectiveness of immunotherapy to ultimately improve patient outcomes.
