Niu Xiaoli, born in Liaoyang city, Liaoning Province in March 1970, is currently the Deputy President of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. She is a member of the Communist Party of China.
She received her bachelor degree in history from the Department of History at Peking University in July 1992 and her master’s degree in philosophy from the School of Humanities at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in July 2007.
From August 1992 to August 1997, she worked in the Office of Human Resources at Beijing Medical University (currently known as Peking University Health Science Center).
Since August 1997, she has been working in the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (formerly known as the Graduate University of Chinese Academy of Sciences). She has successively worked as the Deputy Director of the Office of the President (November 2000—February 2004), Deputy Director of the Office of Publicity (February 2004—December 2008), Director of the Office of Student Affairs (December 2008—October 2011), Secretary of the Youth League Committee (June 2009—December 2011), Party Branch Secretary of Education Management (May 2009—October 2011), Director of the Party Committee Office, Director of the Office of the President (October 2011—September 2017), Director of the University Office (September, 2017—January 2018), and the Party Branch Secretary of Administrative Offices (January 2012—January 2018).
