Dear International Students,

To prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus, UCAS has decided to postpone the start of the Spring Semester, 2020. The start of the semester will depend on the status of the epidemic in the city where your host institute is located. Therefore, the start of the spring semester may differ among colleges and institutes. Students enrolled for courses at the International College in the Spring Semester 2020 will be informed in due time by the College. For others, host institutes will issue announcements.

To protect yourself from the novel coronavirus, please carefully read the attachment, and pay attention to the following points:

1. If you are now staying in Beijing, in order to minimize the risk of infection, please STAY at or near your dormitory. If you really need to leave, please submit an application to your host institute in advance.
2. If you are now in a city other than Beijing or even outside China, please DO NOT come back, until receiving information on the start of the semester.
3. Stay in contact with your host institute/college and inform your host institute/college in a timely manner of your plans to return for the coming semester.
4. Upon your return to China, please complete the inspection work required by the local authority. You may be isolated for a 14-day observation period.
