Notice on 1st Round of the 4th Int’l Seminar on River Landscape

Oct. 13-19, Yueyang, Hunan Province/Wuhan, Hubei Province

 

Wuhan Botanical Garden of CAS and Key Laboratory of Aquatic Botany and Watershed Ecology of CAS are scheduled to hold the 4th Int'l Seminar on River Landscape in October.

Funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and Science and Technology Department of the Hubei Provincial Government, the seminar aims to explore sustainable management of the ecological system of river-flooded areas, enhance academic exchanges between researchers of China and other countries in some fields, watershed ecology and river ecology in particular, and promote the development of China's ecological studies.

The seminar will be held in Yueyang of Hunan Province on Oct. 13 to Oct. 17, before moving to Wuhan of Hubei Province where an open (youth) forum will be held for two days.
