About the speaker:
Andy Kennedy obtained his Ph.D. degree from Harvard University and is now a professor at Australian National University. Specializing in international politics, he mainly studies leadership and foreign policy, and technological modernization and power transitions, with particular interest in policies and international relations of China and India and of U.S. and China. In this lecture, he will adopt a comparative perspective to explain the independence and contest between China and India in terms of globalization, R&D and innovation.
