This year marks the 40th anniversary of microwave remote sensing (MIRS) studies in China. The landmark achievements and contributions made by China in the field of MIRS research in the past four decades are worth celebrating and remembering. The Key Laboratory of Microwave Remote Sensing of the CAS aims to review the histroy of China's MIRS studies and look into its future by hosting a series of seminars themed “40 Years of Microwave Remote Sensing Studies in China”
